The chase began when Hoxie Police attempted to stop a vehicle that refused to stop. The chase reached speeds over 100 MPH on Highway 367, and the vehicle attempted to disable the police vehicle in pursuit by brake-checking. Walnut Ridge PD and the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office joined the pursuit. The pursuit finally came to an end in the 1300 block of Highway 367, and the suspect attempted to flee on foot. He was tased but continued to fight officers. He was arrested and taken to the Lawrence County Jail. No names have been released at this time.
