A Bull Shoals man bites his wife on the head

A Marion County man with a lengthy criminal record is back behind bars after allegedly assaulting his wife. Authorities say 43-year-old Joshua Dustin Monistere of Bull Shoals was arrested on July 20th after Marion County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on Marion County Road 4021. According to the probable cause affidavit, the victim told deputies that Monistere pushed her against the wall and bit her on the head. She reported having difficulty remembering the full incident, but showed visible red marks on her face, neck, and a red patch on her back. When deputies arrived at the scene, Monistere allegedly told the victim, “If that is the police, I’m going to kill you.” He was taken into custody and now faces new felony charges of first-degree domestic battery, first-degree terroristic threatening, along with a misdemeanor count of assault on a household member. His bond is set at $10,000.
