Students across the Ozarks are heading back to school; Ozarks Healthcare, along with 150 area students, is celebrating the success of its annual M*A*S*H Camp, for hands-on learning in the world of healthcare.
M*A*S*H, which stands for “Medical Academy of Science and Health” is a multi-day camp, designed for middle and high school students, gave participants a behind-the-scenes look at careers in medicine through interactive activities and real-world simulations. Students practiced suturing, learned about medical imaging, explored surgical techniques, and gained insight into a variety of healthcare professions from Ozarks Healthcare staff and providers.
M*A*S*H Camp is made possible in part through support from the Ozarks Healthcare Foundation, which helps fund educational programs that prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals.
