A one-vehicle crash occurred at 1:20 p.m. Thursday on U.S. Highway 60, two miles west of Willow Springs in Howell County. The crash happened when a westbound 2015 Kia Soul traveled off the right side of the roadway and down an embankment. The driver, a 73-year-old male from Wappapello, sustained moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains. A 69-year-old female passenger, also from Wappapello, sustained minor injuries and was transported to the same hospital.
