A Mammoth Spring man was arrested Thursday evening by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department. According to authorities, 44-year-old Michael Smith was taken into custody on August 21 around 6 p.m. Smith faces several charges, including felony second-degree battery against a law enforcement officer, felony possession of a controlled substance, felony terroristic threatening, and public intoxication. He is currently being held in the Fulton County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
