Arkansas, led by 2015 Naismith Hall of Fame inductee John Calipari, and Michigan State, led by 2016 Naismith Hall of Fame inductee Tom Izzo, are set to play a home-and-home series, the programs announced Wednesday. The series is set to begin this fall on Nov. 8 (Saturday) in the Spartans’ Breslin Center, and Arkansas is scheduled to host Michigan State in Bud Walton Arena next season. Game time and television designation will be announced at a later date.
The programs have only met on two previous occasions – both on neutral courts – with Michigan State winning both.
