
The Council handled regular monthly business, approving the payment of bills. They approved several items on the agenda, including allowing City Clerk Brent Collins to attend the MRWA Office Professional Seminar and approving WWTP Supervisor Mike Alexander’s attendance at the MRWA Fall Conference. They approved renewing the conflict of interest ordinance, approved merging the old Sumit Bond Accounts for the Municipal Court, approved the purchase of a reel of wire, approved the purchase of a new concrete saw and blades, approved the inspection of the stand pipes, approved the purchase of a booster pump, and talked about rural water rates. Then, Mayor Donna Martin gave us an update on the Jordan’s Travel Center project
