A Pocahontas woman was taken into custody Friday afternoon by the Pocahontas Police Department. According to authorities, 47-year-old Joann Brown was booked into the Randolph County Jail at 12:39 p.m. on September 12. She faces two counts of failure to appear and felony possession of drug paraphernalia (methamphetamine/cocaine). Brown is currently being held in the Randolph County Jail with no bond set at this time.
