Deputies went to Webster County and arrested Stanley Wayne Stricklin Jr. on a charge of first-degree rape or attempted rape. Stricklin is accused of providing alcohol to two minors on Aug. 25. One of the minors later told police that Stricklin sexually assaulted her while she was intoxicated. Stricklin is being held on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
In a separate case, deputies arrested Johnny Ray Richardson on a charge of fourth-degree child molestation. According to court documents, a 13-year-old victim told authorities that Richardson began touching her inappropriately in July. She later said that the assaults happened two to three times a week. Richardson is being held on a $50,000 cash-only bond.
