A weapon was found near Highland High School on Monday morning. According to authorities, school administrators were contacted and made aware of a possible weapon on its campus. There were no threats made toward students or staff and the situation was solved quickly without incident. The student in question fully cooperated with officials and at this time the school has reported that there have not been any students taken into custody or penalized at this time.
