Monday, the Howell County Sheriff’s Office and South-Central Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence on Private Road 2012 near West Plains, Missouri. The operation led to the discovery of illegal narcotics and the arrest of Robert “Bob” Wilson, of West Plains. During the execution of the warrant, Wilson was detained and escorted from the residence. A search of his person revealed a substantial amount of U.S. currency. While methamphetamine was located inside the residence, investigators believe much of the suspected shipment had already been distributed prior to the search. Wilson was transported to the Howell County Jail on an active Parole Violation. On September 17, 2025, Wilson was transported to the Missouri Department of Corrections for a prison return on a parole violation. Additional charges from this week’s search warrant will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor’s Office
