44-year-old Andreana Fay Smith allegedly tried to remove the battery from a vehicle to install it in Smith’s own car. When the victim refused to let her take it, Smith allegedly became enraged, shouted profanities, and slammed the hood of the car, breaking the latch and grill. Smith also allegedly threatened to kill the victim. Smith was arrested on two counts of third-degree assault on a family or household member and one count of second-degree criminal mischief. Smith is free on $1,395 bond.
