An Oregon County couple has been charged following a child abuse investigation involving multiple minors. Court records show Gregory and Laken Hodges, of Koshkonong, each face three counts of abuse or neglect of a child with no sexual contact. According to the probable cause statement, law enforcement agencies, including the Missouri State Highway Patrol, began investigating on December 20, 2024, after reports of sexual and physical abuse in Howell and Oregon counties. One victim reported multiple instances of sexual abuse by Gregory, while another described repeated physical abuse by both Gregory and Laken. A second victim also claimed Gregory “beats me, grabs me by the throat, and punches me.” The couple was interviewed by authorities on January 9. Gregory denied the allegations, claiming the minors were coached on what to say. Warrants have been issued for both, with bond set at $25,000 each.
