FNBC has announced the promotion of Cathryn Hays to Assistant Vice President – Internal Audit. In her new role, Hays will continue to lead the bank’s internal auditing function, supporting risk management standards and accountability. She joined FNBC in July 2023 as an Internal Auditor and has since taken on responsibility for the Internal Audit program. Over the past year, she also earned the Certified Community Bank Internal Audit designation through the Independent Community Bankers of America. Before joining FNBC, Hays worked as a branch manager at a financial institution in Jonesboro and has experience as a paralegal. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Arkansas State University. FNBC is an $825 million asset community bank with locations across North Central and Northeast Arkansas, as well as South-Central Missouri.
