
A former employee at Dora High School faces charges for allegedly trying to meet a student for sexual contact. 30-year-old Koree Pendergrass of West Plains is facing charges of first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, creating a substantial risk. Pendergrass is a former paraprofessional at Dora H.S. The incident allegedly happened in March of 2023. 34-year-old Kenneth Bradley Quinn Arnold of St. James is also being charged. According to the probable cause affidavit, a deputy interviewed the victim, who said she had been texting with Arnold, who was trying to meet her for sexual intercourse. The victim told the deputy that Pendegrass had texted her and been in contact with the Arnold. Pendegrass also took a picture of the victim and sent it to Arnold. The three then had a group chat before the victim and Arnold started chatting by themselves. The 16-year-old told the deputy she had sent pictures of herself in a provocative manner to Arnold.
Arnold will go to trial on October 8th in Ozark County. Pendergrass was just recently charged while authorities tried to work out a plea deal, but could not reach one.
