Mountain Grove woman seriously injured in Highway 60 crash
A Wright County woman was seriously injured Thursday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash east of Norwood. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 2:44 p.m. on October 16 along U.S. Highway 60, about three miles east of Norwood. Troopers say a 2001 Mercedes ML320 driven by a 60-year-old Mountain Grove woman attempted to change lanes and struck 28-year-old Marshfield man driving a 2017 Ram 3500 . The impact caused the Mercedes to overturn. The woman sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment. The crash remains under investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Mountain View man injured in Shannon County crash
A 23-year-old Mountain View man suffered minor injuries Thursday morning following a single-vehicle crash in Shannon County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 11:48 a.m. on October 16 along Missouri Route Y, three miles from Birch Tree. Troopers report that a 2014 Freightliner, driven by the Mountain View man, crossed the centerline and ran off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene by Gentleman Jim’s Towing of Mountain View at the driver’s request. The man was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was transported by private conveyance for treatment of minor injuries.
Ava teen injured in Douglas County crash
An 18-year-old Ava man was injured Thursday morning following a single-vehicle crash in Douglas County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 10:30 a.m. on October 16 along Highway 88, eight miles south of Seymour. Troopers say the 2005 Dodge Dakota the teen was driving ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned. The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, sustained minor injuries and was transported by Cox Ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
