
Mountain Grove man injured in a U-Haul accident
A Mountain Grove man was injured Thursday night in a crash south of Mountain Grove. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 9:19 p.m. on Wall Road, about one-half mile south of Mountain Grove. A 63-year-old man from Mountain Grove was driving a U-Haul 15-foot box truck southbound when the vehicle failed to negotiate a turn, ran off the left side of the roadway, and struck several trees. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, sustained moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Wright County man injured in crash Friday evening north of Grovespring
A Mountain View man sustained minor injuries in a crash Friday evening in Wright County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 7:10 p.m. on Highway 5, about three miles north of Grovespring. A 2021 Freightliner, driven by a 25-year-old man from Mountain View, was traveling southbound when the vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a fence. The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
