A man from Pocahontas was killed, and four people were injured in an accident in Butler County on Tuesday. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says that the 60-year-old man was killed in a chain reaction accident when a truck driven by a 45-year-old man from Doniphan hit the rear of the vehicle the man from Pocahontas was in, causing it to hit the rear of another vehicle, which then hit the rear of another vehicle. Another man in the vehicle with the man from Pocahontas suffered serious injuries, and the driver suffered minor injuries. The man from Doniphan who was driving the truck suffered minor injuries, and the driver of the third vehicle, a 35-year-old man from Poplar Bluff, suffered minor injuries. The accident happened on Route C, five miles south of Poplar Bluff.
