
A Fayetteville, Arkansas man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash north of Mansfield Thursday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 10:40 a.m. on Missouri Route 5, approximately five miles north of Mansfield. A 2020 Freightliner, driven by a 60-year-old male from Fayetteville, was traveling northbound when it traveled off the right side of the roadway. The tractor-trailer went airborne, struck a culvert and fence, and overturned. The driver was wearing a safety device but suffered serious injuries. He was transported by Mercy Ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon for treatment.
