A woman from Myrtle was injured in an accident that claimed the life of another person and injured another. The Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop E reports that the 68-year-old woman from Myrtle suffered serious injuries when she ran a stop sign and hit a vehicle that was driven by a 28-year-old woman from Silva, Missouri. The woman from Silva suffered serious injuries, and her passenger, a 65-year-old woman from Patterson, was killed. The accident happened on U.S. 160, at Highway C in Butler County.
