The Carter County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a man facing serious child-related charges. According to authorities, Kenneth Crawford was taken into custody on Wednesday and has been charged with Statutory Rape – 2nd Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child by Engaging in Sexual Conduct with a Person Under 17. Crawford was served an arrest warrant and is currently being held on a $150,000 cash/surety bond. No further details have been released at this time.
