WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Due to predicted inclement weather this weekend, the Missouri State University-West Plains Grizzly Basketball program has rescheduled its annual Grizzly Toy Toss game.
The game, which was scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, has been rescheduled to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11.
The Grizzlies’ opponent in the game will be Tennessee Prep from Memphis, Tennessee. The game’s original opponent, Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa, was not able to reschedule, university officials said.
Fans are encouraged to bring their new or gently used soft toys to toss at Tuesday’s game. They will be collected and given to the local Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots campaign.
Those who bring a toy will receive free admission, officials reminded.
