A man from Ava was arrested in the State of Montana after a joint investigation by the US Marshals and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office. 21-year-old Christian Kizzire was wanted on a Douglas County Warrant for failing to register as a Sex Offender.
In July of 2024, Kizzire left and absconded from Missouri’s sex offender registration requirement. Bond on the failure to register as a sex offender was set at $1500 cash only. Kizzire had a second warrant for Animal neglect and property damage with a $150 bond.
