
A woman from Norwood was injured in an accident west of Mountain Grove. The Highway Patrol reports the 48-year-old woman suffered serious injuries when she ran off the road and overturned the vehicle she was driving, with it coming to rest on its top. She was taken to Cox South in Springfield. The accident happened on Highway N, five miles west of Mountain Grove.
Two Mountain Grove residents were injured in an accident on icy roads in Fordland. The Highway Patrol says that the 50-year-old woman and 26-year-old man both suffered minor injuries when the woman lost control of the pickup on an ice-covered roadway and hit a bridge. Both the injured were taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on Highway 60 in Fordland.
