A man from West Plains was injured in an accident late last night east of Winona. 39 year old Leonard Welch suffered moderate injuries when he drove off the road, went down an embankment and struck a tree. Welch was taken to Ozarks Medical Center. The accident happened on U.S. 60 about 6 miles east of Winona.
