
Arkansas State Police have released the name of a Batesville woman who was killed in a two-vehicle crash earlier this month in Jefferson County. According to State Police, the crash occurred at approximately 3:26 p.m. on December 5 at the intersection of Highway 270 and Highway 104 in White Hall. A preliminary fatal crash report states that 43 year old Jaime L. Dieffenbacher, of Batesville, was traveling westbound when she failed to stop at a stop sign. ASP reported that Dieffenbacher’s 2012 Chrysler 200 struck the driver’s side of a 2021 Toyota 4Runner driven by 21 year old Madelyn Evans, of White Hall. Dieffenbacher was pronounced dead as a result of the crash. Evans and a child passenger in Dieffenbacher’s vehicle were reported to have suffered unspecified injuries. The crash remains under investigation by Arkansas State Police.
