A man from West Plains was injured in an accident in Phelps County on Monday. The Highway Patrol reports that the 48-year-old man from West Plains and an 18-year-old boy from Plattsburgh both suffered serious injuries when the 18-year-old crossed the center of the roadway and hit the vehicle the West Plains man was driving head-on. The accident happened on U.S. 63, three miles south of Edgar Springs.
A 10-year-old boy from Ava was injured in an accident south of Ozark, Missouri, on Monday. The Highway Patrol says that the 10-year-old suffered moderate injuries when the vehicle he was riding in hit a vehicle that had pulled into its path. The drivers of both vehicles were from Ozark, and both suffered moderate injuries. The accident happened on Route W, two and a half miles south of Ozark.
