The suspect, identified as Taylor Wilcox, was arrested when officers found him sitting in a car behind the residence. Wilcox was in possession of a small pocket knife and a plastic baggie containing a white crystalline substance that tested positive for meth. The victim’s child was reportedly inside the residence at the time but was not physically harmed. Wilcox was arrested and is charged with Rape or Attempted Rape, Armed Criminal Action, Kidnapping, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. His bond is set at $100,000.
