44-year-old Dustin Wheeler was arrested last June after Mountain Home Police were called to a residence and found 36-year-old Heather Bradford deceased. Bradford had been shot in the head. Wheeler was found asleep on the couch in the residence. Wheeler was charged with first-degree murder. He was released on $500,000 bond. Wheeler was in court on Monday requesting that the bond be lowered, but Judge Putman denied the request. Wheeler is scheduled to go to trial next month.
