The Howell County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a wanted man. Authorities say Shaun Jackson is wanted after failing to appear in court on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Investigators say he is known to frequent the areas of West Plains, Ava, and Gainesville. The sheriff’s office warns the public to use caution and says anyone who sees Jackson should not attempt to approach or detain him.
