A 76-year-old Gatewood woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in Oregon County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 12 p.m. on Highway 142 at the Oregon County line. Troopers say the woman was driving a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee eastbound when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway. She then overcorrected, went off the left side of the road, and overturned. The driver sustained moderate injuries and was transported by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
