Ozarks Healthcare has announced that Family Nurse Practitioner Emily Redfearn is now providing care at the Ozarks Healthcare Zizzer Clinic in West Plains. Redfearn previously practiced at the Ozarks Healthcare Walk-In Clinic, where she gained experience delivering timely, patient-centered care. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southeast Missouri State University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University. The Zizzer Clinic serves students, staff, and faculty of the West Plains School District, including South Fork Elementary. The clinic also provides services to Ozarks Healthcare employees, as well as students from the Fairview, Glenwood, Howell Valley, Junction Hill, and Richards school districts, along with Southern Missouri Technical Institute. Available services include routine health checks, treatment of minor injuries, mental health services, and care for common illnesses. Officials say the addition of Redfearn will help expand access to convenient healthcare services for the local school community.
