Last Thursday, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and Ava Police Department served a Narcotics Search Warrant in the City of Ava on Grand Avenue
Sheriff Degase advised that methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were seized.
Arrested at the apartment was Kevin Hansen, age 55 of Ava and a warrant was issued for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia bond was set at $5000 cash only. The other tenant, Lisa Storey Ransom, age 57, of Ava, was arrested the previous day after providing a positive Drug test. She was subsequently charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; her bond was also set at $5000 cash only. Both subjects are multiple repeat offenders
