Former Shannon County Sheriff’s Office dispatch is behind bars

A former Shannon County Sheriff’s Office dispatcher has been arrested in connection with allegations of inmate harassment. According to the Shannon County Sheriff’s Office, Zane Michael Robinson, of Eminence, was taken into custody on Jan. 21, 2026. Robinson previously worked as a dispatcher for the sheriff’s office. Authorities said Robinson has been formally charged with harassment in the first degree, a Class E felony under Missouri law. No additional information has been released at this time.
