The City of Eminence has issued a boil water advisory after a loss of pressure was reported within the city’s water system. According to city officials, the advisory is being issued as a precautionary measure and will remain in effect until further notice. During this time, residents are advised to boil all water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, making ice, and washing food for at least one minute, then allow it to cool before use. Bottled water may also be used as an alternative. City officials say the advisory will remain in place until water quality testing is completed and results are returned confirming the water is safe for consumption. Residents will be notified when the advisory has been lifted.
