The Couch School District has announced the cancellation of its annual fish fry fundraiser scheduled for early February. According to district officials, Mrs. Crowder and Mrs. Royer made the difficult decision to cancel the fundraiser, which had been planned for Wednesday, February 4, 2026. Despite the cancellation, Couch FBLA members will continue raising funds through their “Fill a Can” St. Jude’s Fundraiser. Officials say the organization will also gladly accept donations to be added to the school’s total contribution for the Annual Country Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon. Community members who wish to support the fundraiser are encouraged to donate and help the students reach their fundraising goals.
