A position on the Hoxie City Council was decided Thursday by the roll of dice. At a special meeting Thursday morning at Hoxie City Hall, Becky Linebaugh and Cliff Farmer rolled dice to decide who would fill the position. The Two had tied in the run-off election held last week and the election commission decided they would use the lot system to determine the winner. Linebaugh rolled a 6 and Farmer rolled a 4, meaning Linebaugh will be the new councilperson.
