70-year-old Dickie Earl Mitchell was arrested on Tuesday on charges of possession of a schedule 6 controlled substance, possession of a schedule 1 or 2 controlled substance, and defective equipment. Mitchell is being held in the Sharp County Detention Center. At the time of his arrest, Mitchell was out on bond for previous drug charges.
