Christopher Jones was extradited from the State of Florida on an active, no-bond warrant issued by a Douglas County Grand Jury. The indictment was for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Dwi. Jones is currently incarcerated in the Douglas County Jail, where he is held without bond.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at 1303 Maple Lane RV#3 at the residence of Aarron Meier. The Sheriff’s Office received information that Meier had recently acquired a firearm and was prohibited from possessing a firearm due to being a convicted felon. Upon serving the search warrant and searching Meier’s residence, a handgun was seized as a result of the search. A warrant was issued for Meier for Unlawful possession of a firearm, with a bond set at $75,000 in cash only. Meier remains incarcerated in the Douglas County Jail.
