KOSHKONONG, MO – The Oregon-Howell R-III School District is proud to announce that Koshkonong Elementary has been recognized by the PRiME Center at Saint Louis University for exceptional student performance. The school has received two prestigious Statewide Growth Awards for its outstanding progress in Mathematics during the 2024-25 school year.
The PRiME Center (Policy Research in Missouri Education) identifies the top-performing schools in the state based on student growth—a measure that tracks how much students learn over time rather than just their absolute test scores.
Double Honors for Mathematics
Koshkonong Elementary was singled out for excellence in two distinct categories:
- Mathematics (2024-25): Recognizing top-tier growth in the most recent academic year.
- Mathematics (3-year Trend): Recognizing sustained, high-level growth over a three-year period ending in 2025.
“This is a tremendous accomplishment,” said Collin Hitt, Ph.D., Executive Director of the PRiME Center, in a congratulatory message to the district. “Your school stands among the very best in Missouri. The work you and your team do every day is making a real difference.”
