A woman from Eminence was injured in an accident Thursday afternoon south of piedmont in Wayne County. The Highway Patrol says that 40 year old Trina Cook suffered serious injuries when she drove off the road and hit a traffic sign and a tree. Cook was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on highway 34 about 4 and a half miles south of Piedmont.
