A man from West Plains was injured in an accident Tuesday morning east of West Plains. The Highway Patrol says that 38 year old Jose Gonzales suffered moderate injuries when he drove off the road and hit a tree. The accident happened around 5:30 Tuesday morning o0n U.S 160, about 10 miles east of West Plains. Gonzales was transported to Ozarks Medical Center.
