There Were Several Accidents Locally Friday

There were several accidents Friday in the Troop G area of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The First accident happened around 3:30 Friday morning on highway 63 about a half mile south of Licking. The Patrol reports that 29 year old Lance Burgdorf of Licking suffered moderate injuries when the vehicle he was driving hit a guard rail, then ran off the road and overturned several times. Burgdorf was taken to Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla.

Then at around 7:45 Friday morning, 50 year old Lisa Pytlak of Pomona suffered moderate injuries when she drove off the road and hit a fence and a tree. Pytlak was taken to Cox Medical Center in Springfield. The accident happened on Highway MM ab0out a mile north of Montier.

Friday afternoon just before 3, 25 year old Cassadra Sisco of Neosho suffered serious injuries when she lost control of the vehicle she was driving on a snow covered road and crossed the centerline and hit a big truck driven by 56 year old Douglas Cheek of Salem Arkansas. Cheek was not injured. Sisco was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The accident happened on highway 63 about a half mile south of Licking,

Then around 3:40 Friday afternoon 18 year old Samantha Brooks of Houston and 21 year old Countney Camden of Summersville both suffered moderate injuries when Camden drove off the road and hit a tree. Both Brooks and Camden were taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The accident happened on Highway E about 3 miles north of Houston.
