Two people have been arrested on burglary charges after a joint investigation by the Ripley and Oregon County Sheriff’s Departments. 30 year old Kyle King and 33 year old Sandy Edwards both of Alton were arrested in connection with several burglaries in the rural areas of both counties. Both are charged with 10 counts of first degree burglary. Bond for King is set at $100,00 while bond for Edwards was set at $75,000 Officers recovered numerous guns and a large amount of hunting equipment and household goods.
