On Wednesday, the West Plains Planning And Zoning Committee met to discuss and go over plans for three proposed projects including Steak N Shake. The News of the possibility of Steak N Shake coming to West Plains is exciting to most people but neighbors of the proposed project on Mitchell Road have expressed concern at recent meetings, about the new restaurant and increase in traffic it might cause along the road. The City Council is expected to vote on the project at the next City Council Meeting next Thursday.
