A Carter County man was arrested in Butler County by the Highway patrol of drug charges. 56 year old Rodney Newman was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance meth, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, failure to register a motor vehicle and no seat belt. HE was taken to Butler County jail and placed on a 24 hour hold.
