A man from Pomona who was awaiting trial on rape charges now faces new charges. 37 year old Daniel Joseph Garza was arrested Friday on charges of first degree burglary and third degree assault. Garza was already facing charges of rape, domestic assault and kidnapping. His bond was set at $5,000 on the new charges. He will be in court on March 22 for a preliminary hearing.
