ECNN is getting reports of a deadly airplane crash in eastern Texas County this morning. Police received a call just before 7:30 saying a small aircraft had crashed in a field near Summersville. The Missouri State Highway patrol, Texas County Sheriff’s Department and Summersville Fire Departments all responded to the scene just off Bethel Road. According to reports a 64 year old man died in the crash and he was the only occupant in the plane. The Federal Aviation Administration was called to the scene. no names have been released
