The name of the victim killed in a plane crash Wednesday morning in Texas county has been released. Authorities say that 64 year old Robert Torp of Springfield was killed when he crashed the plane just off highway 17 on Bethel Road near Summersville around 7:15 Wednesday morning. The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the crash.
