A man wanted in Butler County was arrested in Carter County. 41 year old Jeffery Tyler of Pittsburgh Kansas was arrested after authorities used spike strips to stop him. Tyler allegedly stole a control box from a car wash Sunday in Poplar Bluff. Tyler was confronted in Poplar Bluff by officers and allegedly drove off nearly hitting one of the officers. Officers chased Tyler into Carter County where spike strips were used to stop his vehicle. Tyler was arrested and taken to the Butler County Justice Center pending filing for formal Stealing, Property Damage, Assault 1st on a Law Enforcement Officer, Resisting Arrest, and Possession of a Controlled Substance charges.
